Inter Miami has embarked on a campaign to rebuild its squad in preparation for the 2025 season. Most recently, the pink shirt club officially had its second reinforcement, Tadeo Allende.
“From Cordoba to Miami. Welcome to the dream, Tadeo. We have signed the attacker Tadeo Allende on a one-year loan from Celta de Vigo until the end of the 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) season,” Inter Miami announced on social media. AS confirmed that the transfer does not include a purchase option, which is why Allende will return to Spain when his contract expires.
AS said that the 25-year-old right winger was already in Miami. Previously, Celta had to pay 4.5 million euros to buy Allende from Godoy Cruz in 2024. In Europe, he only made 13 appearances and scored 3 goals in 430 minutes of play.
Allende is the seventh Argentine in the Inter Miami squad alongside Lionel Messi, Tomas Aviles, Benjamin Cremaschi, Facundo Farias, Federico Redondo and Marcelo Weigandt.
This is Inter Miami’s second confirmed addition of the transfer window after the capture of left winger Fafa Picault, 33, from the Vancouver Whitecaps. Picault scored 10 goals and had eight assists in 40 games in 2024.
In addition, there are two names that are just one step away from being officially announced. Specifically, right-back Gonzalo Lujan will come from San Lorenzo, while midfielder Telasco Segovia will come from Casa Pia for a fee of 2.5 million USD, with the Portuguese club having 50% of the future sale proceeds.
Segovia’s arrival will be essential to offset Diego Gomez’s record $14 million move to Brighton. In that position, Matias Rojas also left as a free agent to River Plate. Inter Miami sold center forward Leonardo Campana for more than $2 million (to the New England Revolution).
