Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes made sure that their daughter would have a birthday celebration to remember. Sterling Mahomes, their eldest daughter, turned 4 on Thursday, and the couple celebrated the special occasion with a party for the birthday girl.

Brittany Mahomes shared a couple of photos and videos of the event on Instagram on Saturday, which revealed that it was a Bluey-themed event. In one of her posts, the mom-of-three said that little Sterling “wanted Bingo and Bluey at her party,” sharing a photo of the two mascots from the highly popular kids’ show alongside Minnie Mouse.

In her next Instagram story, however, Brittany Mahomes revealed that there was a dramatic turn of events when the special guests came out.

In the next post, the birthday girl is seen crying in her mother’s hands. The same was the case for her little brother Bronze, who was also weeping as Patrick Mahomes carried him.

Based on their reactions, the kids clearly did not appreciate the special appearance of Bluey, Bingo and Minnie Mouse at the party. While this is a common reaction from young children when it comes to life-size mascots, it still produced a bit of a cute drama during the party.
