Stephen Curry’s Mom ‘Grashie’: Her Journey, Challenges, and Unwavering Support During a Chaotic Weekend

After the upsetting exit from the semifinal series, the Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has been spending his time with his family. Incidentally, the superstar’s sister, Sydel Curry, shared heartwarming pictures from a recent Curry family gathering along with an uncanny picture of her mother, Sonya. Even though Sonya’s children grew up into stars, she has her own ways to keep them under control. Moreover, a bizarre incident of Sonya dealing with her drunk daughter left a lasting impression on the internet world.

Apart from his balling prowess on the court, Steph has proved to be a family-oriented person ever since his rookie season. The 2x MVP has always stood by his wife on her entrepreneurial quest. Moreover, he equally loves his kids so much that he even took them to post-game press conferences multiple times.

Stephen Curry’s sister shared heartwarming pictures from the family gathering

The Curry family spent a quality weekend amid nature, as Sydel Curry shared wholesome pictures on her Instagram stories. The pictures featured Stephen Curry’s kids, Riley, Ryan, and Canon, along with her son, Daxon Lee. She also tagged Ayesha and Chef Curry in the story.

Additionally, in another Instagram story, she shared an uncanny picture of her mother, Sonya, touching a butterfly. The picture carried a caption describing her mother’s mood dealing with the four grandkids. The caption read, “Grashie held it down tho for real cause 4 kids is,” with a spiral-eyed emoji.

Even though Sydel’s caption hinted that the four kids made Sonya tired, a bizarre story incident revealed another side of Curry’s mom.

Sonya Curry dealt with her drunk daughter in a peculiar way During one of the episodes of Red Table Talk, Jada Smith visited the Curry family for a fun conversation. While talking about Sonya, Ayesha Curry narrated a hilarious incident about how the 57-year-old mother dealt with her drunk daughter during a party. She pushed her daughter into a cold shower and left it for Sydel to deal with, as Ayesha said, “She left her up there to fend for herself and figure out her own situation..” Despite handling her drunk daughter’s situation with ease, Sonya seemed to have gasping for air dealing with the four grandchildren.
