Steph Curry Maintains Playoff Dominance, Leading in 2 Key Stats

Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors hasn’t played a single game of basketball since being eliminated by the Los Angeles Lakers a few weeks ago.

But that doesn’t mean he isn’t still impacting the playoffs.

According to StatMuse, Curry remains the league’s playoff leader with made three-pointers and fourth-quarter points.

So even though Curry hasn’t played in over two weeks, he is still a major part of the postseason.

This shows just how consequential Curry is even when his team isn’t able to go all the way to the Finals.

During these playoffs, Curry averaged 30.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.

He also scored 4.4 three-pointers off of his 12.1 attempts.

He was easily the most important person on his team and was trying his hardest to push them back to the Finals.

But this was a season unlike any other and Curry’s sheer might wasn’t enough to get the job done, especially after the Warriors dug such a hole for themselves earlier in the year.

It isn’t clear if anyone will be able to beat Curry’s totals in the next few weeks as the Finals wage on.

Will Nikola Jokic or Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets score more fourth-quarter points?

Will someone like Jimmy Butler, Duncan Robinson, or the returning Tyler Herro get hot from downtown and lead the league in playoff threes?

Or will Curry still be on top when 2022-23 comes to an official end?

Curry’s impressive achievements show that a player can hold records in the postseason even if they don’t make it that far.

They also show that even with a red-hot player who is one of the best in the league, a team might not have what it takes to make the Finals.
