It’s heartwarming to learn that Lionel Messi will spend Christmas cooped up at home after receiving a grand welcome on his return to Argentina.
According to ESPN, Luis Suárez will also spend Christmas with the Messi family. Suárez arrived in Rosario, Argentina, accompanied by one of his sons to celebrate the World Cup triumph with Messi.
The close bond between the two families was formed during their time as teammates at Barcelona.
They have enjoyed great success on the field and have become best friends off it. They even vacationed in Ibiza together earlier this year.
