Mahomes has insisted he’s a genuine fan of the product
PATRICK Mahomes has helped a coffee brand to the top of the Amazon charts, and Jena Sims says she can’t wait to try it.
The actress and model – and wife of golf superstar Brooks Koepka – was sent a shipment of Throne SPORT COFFEE by Mahomes and his wife Brittany.
The drink is being hailed as a healthier coffee for athletes to drink.
And Sims posted on Instagram that she would be tasting it as soon as possible.
“Can’t wait to try!!… Sport Coffee is needed after the last few days,” she said.
And a further update shows that Sims is obviously a keen coffee drinker.
“I actually do bring my coffee in the gym (Liv Figueroa and I call it our coffee date) so I’m intrigued by this.”
Sims has appeared in a number of made-for-TV films and B movies.
She married Koepka in 2022. He is one of the world’s most prominent golfers, having won five majors.
Mahomes subtly promoted his latest endeavor during a press conference at Organized Team Activities last month.
He wore a T-shirt that read, “THRONE SPORT COFFEE.”
Only hours later, the Mahomes power was there for all to see when the brand became the No.1 best-selling, ready-to-drink coffee on Amazon.
“I am proud to be part of Throne SPORT COFFEE and to launch and introduce a better iced coffee to the masses,” Mahomes states on the brand’s official website.
He has also emphasized that he is genuinely a coffee fan.
“I love coffee. I drink it a lot. But I don’t like to put sugar in it,” he said.
“I don’t like to put all the added stuff in there. So, I wanted to find a healthier version so I can help my body not have that dad bod.”
Mahomes endorses a number of brands, including Adidas, Coors Light, Subway, T-Mobile and Head & Shoulders.
It’s no surprise that he’s so enormously in demand, as he has pretty much become the face of the NFL in recent times.
Since joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017, he has established himself as one of the finest ever NFL players.
The quarterback, 28, has inspired the Chiefs to three Super Bowl triumphs in five seasons.
The third of those came in February in Las Vegas when the Chiefs overcame the San Francisco 49ers. Mahomes set up the winning touchdown for Mecole Hardman as the Chiefs won 25-22 in overtime.
Andy Reid’s team will be aiming for an historic three-peat of Super Bowl success when the 2024 campaign kicks off in September.
