“Ring SZN” is twice as nice for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Matthews.
The high school sweethearts, both 27, enjoyed a ritzy date night Thursday at the Chiefs’ championship ring ceremony at Union Station in Kansas City, months after the team defeated the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII in February.
“Its Ring SZN again 😊,” Brittany wrote in an Instagram Story, which included photos of the couple dressed to the nines.
Brittany stunned in a sparkling black dress while the two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback sported a neatly tailored plaid suit and velvet red shoes.
Mahomes also rocked his first championship ring, which he received in 2020 after the Chiefs topped the 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.
The two-time league MVP received his Super Bowl 2023 ring during the event and posed for pics with both rings, according to posts shared on Brittany’s Instagram Stories.
Chiefs players received their rings in a red box containing a video screen that played game film from their 38-35 championship win over the Eagles.
“We love Lombardis,” Brittany wrote over a photo that featured her and Mahomes standing in front of an enlarged statue of the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
In a separate video, Mahomes made funny faces while sitting next to his good friend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — who was a groomsman at the quarterback’s wedding to Brittany in March 2022.
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and his wife, Tavia, were also in attendance, as well as their daughter Gracie.
The former Miss Kansas USA looked radiant in a pink, red, and orange ombre sparkling dress from Jenny Packham.
Tavia opted for a gorgeous beaded white dress while Hunt paired his black suit and gold bowtie with a winning smile.
Gracie documented her night on social media and gave her 364,000 Instagram followers a peek inside the star-studded celebrations, which included a special performance by Flo Rida.
Gracie shared a video of her dancing on stage with the rapper, who gave her the mic to sing his hit song, “Low.”
“The vibe is giving February 2020 in Miami,” Gracie wrote over the clip, referring to the Chiefs’ celebrations after they defeated the 49ers in South Beach.
Guests in attendance were also treated to a sushi bar and a seafood smorgasbord of oysters, crab legs, and shrimp cocktail.
The menu also included a charcuterie board, filet mignon, lobster, and a variety of sweet treats.
February’s Super Bowl win marked the Chiefs’ third championship in franchise history.
Mahomes, who played through a high ankle sprain in the contest , was also named this year’s Super Bowl MVP, his second nod to date.
