Cristiano Ronaldo has 923 career goals

In just one day, Cristiano Ronaldo will officially turn 40. The Portuguese superstar is still maintaining his burning passion for football.

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 40th birthday with a brilliant double against Al Wasl in the 7th round of the AFC Champions League Elite group stage. Ronaldo’s 922nd career goal came in a familiar scenario, scoring from the penalty spot. This goal also helped Al Nassr create a 2-0 advantage before the end of the first half. Before that was a goal by Al Hassan in the 25th minute.

In the second half, Ronaldo continued to shine with a goal to increase the score to 3-0 with a classy flying header and bring the total number of goals in his career to 923. In the final minutes of the match, substitute player Al Fatil scored another goal to seal Al Nassr’s 4-0 victory.

This victory helps Ronaldo and his teammates to be sure to be in the top 3 teams after the group stage.

Since turning 39, the Portuguese superstar has scored 50 goals in 56 appearances, an incredible achievement for any player.
