Cristiano Ronaldo visited a country in Southeast Asia on February 18.
According to ANTARA, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to visit East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province, Indonesia on February 18. This information was confirmed by NTT Acting Governor Andriko Noto Susanto. He said: “Ronaldo is expected to arrive at El Tari Airport, Kupang, at 11am tomorrow (February 18)”.
The NTT Provincial Football Association of the Indonesian Football Confederation (PSSI) sent a letter to the NTT provincial government to inform them of the Portuguese player’s visit. The PSSI regional office said in the letter that the Graha Kasih Foundation would like to invite the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player to meet with the NTT Acting Governor to discuss football-related issues and the development of the province.
The discussion is scheduled to take place at the governor’s office in the capital city of Kupang on February 19, at 10:30 a.m. local time.
Meanwhile, the NTT Regional Police confirmed that they are coordinating with the PSSI office in the province to plan security for CR7’s visit. Police Public Relations Officer Colonel Henry Novika Chandra said a meeting will be held soon to discuss details of Ronaldo’s visit. He also confirmed that the NTT police force will plan and implement security measures to ensure the visit goes smoothly and safely.
Because of this visit, Ronaldo is expected to be absent from Al Nassr’s squad for the trip to Persepolis in the AFC Champions League Elite group stage.
Since the beginning of 2025, Ronaldo has shown a brilliant scoring form with eight goals in eight appearances in all competitions for Al Nassr. More broadly, the player who has just turned 40 has 24 goals and four assists in 27 matches, helping Al Nassr to quickly secure a ticket to the 1/8 round of the Asian Cup 1, while continuing to pursue the championship race in the Saudi Pro League.
