It seems like getting dressed is an epidemic with football players as of late, with Patrick Mahomes following in Jason Kelce’s footsteps as he admitted he “forgot” to wear pants during Kansas City Chiefs training camp.
The NFL team shared a video of the hilarious moment on Instagram Wednesday, with the three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, 28, and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, 28, both poking fun at the clip on their Instagram Stories.

“Oh dude, I didn’t put my pants on!” Mahomes — who had failed to put the padded pants on under his practice uniform — asked his teammates in the clip, adding, “You think anyone notices?”
He wandered around aimlessly before saying, “Um … I forgot my pants pads?” and wondering, “Maybe they’ll think my quads are so big that they look like pants.”
Eventually, the Chiefs player goes off to change, saying, “I look like an idiot now, dude.”
Patrick shared the video to his Story with a series of laughing emojis, while wife Brittany — who is expecting her third 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 with the Chiefs star — also posted the clip on her Instagram Story, writing, “Sorry I’m not there to dress you @patrickmahomes.”

The incident brings back memories of the time Jason Kelce, 36, blamed his wife, Kylie Kelce, for forgetting to pack a pair of jeans for him to wear to the premiere of the “Kelce” documentary in 2023.
“Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?” his brother, Travis Kelce, 34, famously quipped during an episode of their “New Heights” podcast.
However, Kylie, 32, later came to the rescue, buying and packing him a pair of khakis to wear to a golf tournament last month.

Fans were loving Patrick’s no-pants moment, like one who commented on the Chiefs’ post, “Maybe Brittany needs to pack pants for Patrick #newheights”
“They are with Jason’s jeans!” another joked, while a third fan wrote, “Where would the NFL be without @kykelce and @brittanylynne to remind these boys to put on their pants!!!”
Luckily, Brittany was on hand to ensure her husband was appropriately attired when they attended a Morgan Wallen concert last week, with the couple matching in light blue denim looks.
Perhaps Kylie and Brittany can team up to solve the world’s pants problems.
