Mahomes also posted a cute video of Sterling reciting a prayer at bedtime
Brittany and Patrick Mahomes might have a pair of future musicians under their roof!
On Friday, May 31, the 28-year-old mother of two shared a few adorable clips on her Instagram Stories of 3-year-old Sterling Skye and 18-month-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III partaking in some “zoomies” around the house.
Dressed in cute pajamas, Sterling and Bronze briefly raced around a room in excitement before drumming on the family’s furniture in one video.
“Love the late night zoomies,” Brittany captioned the clip, alongside a laughing emoji as she tagged her 28-year-old husband.
After the two kids playfully banged their hands on some shelving, Sterling confirmed to her mom in another clip that she and her little bro were simply “making music.”
“Do it again,” Brittany then said, encouraging her daughter and son to make some more noise and get it out of their systems before bedtime.
Clearly, the moment of “zoomies” paid off, as the spouse of the Super Bowl-winning quarterback then shared a video of Sterling reciting the classic prayer “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.”
“To brighten your day,” Brittany wrote over the video, alongside a prayer-hands emoji. “Amen.”
The following day, June 1, Sterling and her mom had some more fun together, with videos on Brittany’s Instagram Stories showing the little girl having fun in a large transparent inflatable filled with balloons.
Last month, Patrick gave props to Brittany in honor of Mother’s Day by sharing a heartfelt portrait of her with their two kids on Instagram. “🤍 Happy Mothers Day! 🤍 @brittanylynne,” the Chiefs QB wrote.
His teammate and friend Travis Kelce also chimed in, writing “Happy Mother’s Day Britt!!” in the comments section.
“Being a Mom is the best title I could ever have,” Brittany wrote in her own celebratory post. “I could not have asked for two better babies, raising them with their dad by my side makes every day beautiful. 🥹 they make life fun & entertaining to say the least .”
Brittany and Patrick have been keeping fans in the loop on their family life for some time now, sharing behind-the-scenes looks at Bronze’s apparent affinity for golf, family car rides, Bluey watch parties and the kids enjoying some reading time with their dad.
Earlier this year, Patrick — who was selected as one of the 2024 TIME100 Most Influential People — spoke to the outlet about balancing life as a dad and his football career. “I’ve looked, if I played until Tom [Brady’s] age, my daughter would be 19, 20 years old…I would love to play that long…At the same time, I want to be there for my daughter,” he said in April.
“If I can do that, I’ll continue to play. But if I feel like it’s taking away from my family time, that’s when I’ll know it’s time to go,” Patrick added.
