Inter Miami has finally confirmed the date for the presentation of Lionel Messi in front of the club’s fans.
The Argentinian soccer superstar, who became a free agent at the end of June, will be introduced as a new Inteɾ Miami player on July 16 at 8 pm ET.
The club described the event as a “big reveal” but did not officially mention Messi’s name in its statement to journalists.
According to the Daily Mail, Messi’s former Barcelona teammates, Seɾgio BusqueTs and Jordi Alaba, will also be introduced alongside him as new club signings.
Following the opening, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner is expected to make his Inter Miami debut against Cruz Azul on July 21 in their opening game of the inaugural League Cup.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of these soccer superstars to the MLS team.
