In the Madrid derby on February 8, Mbappe equalized 1-1 for Real in the 50th minute. This goal marked the 514th time the French striker has contributed to a goal for his club and country. Before that, he had scored 353 goals and assisted 160 times.
At the same age of 26, Ronaldo scored 302 goals, Messi 486 goals, and Neymar 492 goals.
In terms of his entire career, Messi still ranks first with 1,229 times bringing goals, including 850 goals and 379 assists. Ronaldo ranks second with 1,181 times, including 924 goals and 257 assists.
Mbappe made his professional debut in December 2015 at Monaco, aged 16. After scoring 27 goals and providing 15 assists for the Principality, the young striker returned to the capital to play for PSG in 2017. There, he contributed 256 goals and 106 assists until leaving in the summer of 2024. In the first half of his season with Real, Mbappe added 23 goals and four assists. The 26-year-old striker is also a big star for the French national team, with 48 goals and 35 assists at international level.
Mbappe’s individual contributions have brought a series of collective successes. He has won one Ligue 1 with Monaco, six Ligue 1s, four French Cups, two League Cups, three French Super Cups with PSG, the European Super Cup, the FIFA Intercontinental Cup with Real, the 2018 World Cup and the 2021 Nations League with the French national team.
This season, Mbappe can continue to conquer many more titles. Real is leading La Liga after 23 rounds, reaching the semi-finals of the King’s Cup and the Champions League play-off round. On February 11, Mbappe and his teammates will play the first leg of the play-off round against Man City.
